Amref Health Africa in Kenya is the country programme office of Amref Health Africa, Africa’s largest International Health NGO. This is the largest and oldest country programme in Africa with an average annual budget of USD 40million. We have 19 innovative products and project models that have successfully been implemented and transformed 5.4million lives.
Amref Health Africa in Kenya implements 41 projects in 47 counties nationwide through five programmatic approaches:- Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Adolescent and Child Health; HIV, AIDS, TB and Malaria; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; and Clinical and Diagnostics. The country office gets involved in emergency response initiatives such as the Drought Response (2009), the Cholera Outbreak Response (2015) and the Garissa University Response (2015).
