The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) is a humanitarian organization that was created through an Act of Parliament, Cap 256 of the Laws of Kenya on 21st December 1965. The provisions of this Act mandate KRCS to operate as auxiliary to both the Central and County governments of Kenya in the humanitarian field and more specifically in the improvement of health, prevention of diseases and mitigation of suffering.
